Sunday Crew helps our badminton group organize games and keep track of playing credit. Alex and Belinda manage the group and its records.
What the app keeps
The app keeps your sign-in identity, player profile, signup and attendance history, linked playing balance, ledger entries, payment reports you submit, and reminder preferences. Organizers can also record reservation expenses, reimbursements, and balance corrections. Existing booking and ledger records were imported from the group’s spreadsheets.
Signing in with Google
Google sign-in requests basic identity information: your name, email address, and profile information. It does not give Sunday Crew permission to read your Gmail, Google Drive, or Calendar. Clerk manages authentication and sign-in sessions.
Who can see what
Alex and Belinda can review membership requests, attendance, payment reports, and group financial records. Approved members can see the crew’s player names and session attendance, along with their own linked account’s balance and payment history. If players share a ledger account, they can see that shared account’s financial history. New logins wait for organizer approval before receiving access to group data.
Payments and reminders
Reporting a payment does not transfer money. Credit is added after an organizer confirms receipt. Reminder preferences are stored, but automated reminder email delivery is not connected yet.
Where the app runs
Sunday Crew uses Vercel for hosting, Neon for its database, Clerk for authentication, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. These services process the information needed to provide those functions.
Corrections and removal requests
Contact Alex or Belinda through your usual group conversation to correct a player link, booking, or payment entry, or to request removal of your information. Deleting a sign-in account does not automatically remove historical attendance or ledger entries from the group’s records.
